Second run as black ants, same story, struggle, prepare, then nothing for 4 hrs this time.Įventually the story happened again, 3rd time, this time i played for 2.5 hrs, but still 'no' ubers for my mighty black ant empire to fight, i was soooo looking forward to a titanic battle between my black ants and an uber wolf spider as that seems to be the MOST dangerous one i've seen. wasted, i spent all that time upgrading, building a powerful army of 150 soldiers and almost 120 workers, all of them lvl 3s, with a queen workforce (you know, the ants that put eggs on tiles and dig tunnels) of 40 workers.
after struggling to reach a point where i could not fear being invaded and wiped out, i began to prepare for the ubers.
So i decided to test my Black Ants, as i love the limited combat abilities of the Black Ants, restricted only to melee soldiers and workers. The second uber creature that spawned finished off my weakened colony.
My first encounters with them were as wood ants, then as my Formicarum Species, first time the Uber bum rushed me and anhiliated my small wood ant colony before i could grow strong enough, and the second one i had an epic battle with a wolf spider uber, and faught tooth and nail to kill it above ground, but my losses were too heavy that by the time i beat it 'all' of my resources were gone, both food and army.
dissapointing appearance of the Uber Bugs, not dissapointing as in they do nothing, but dissapointing in that they never spawn when i want them to.
